Credits represent computational work. Each workflow type consumes a fixed number of credits based on the compute required. There are no surprise charges.

What counts as one credit?
One credit represents a unit of computational work. Lightweight analyses like summary statistics cost 1 credit, while compute-intensive workflows like Cell Ranger cost 25 credits. The exact cost is shown before you run any workflow — no surprises.
What is the Project tier?
The Project tier is pay-as-you-go pricing with no monthly subscription. You purchase credits when you need them at $0.10 per credit, and pay $0.05/GB/month for storage. It is ideal for one-off analyses, occasional projects, or trying out the platform before committing to a subscription.
What happens to unused credits?
For Individual and Lab subscriptions, unused credits reset at the end of each billing cycle. Credit top-up packs purchased separately do not expire for 12 months from the date of purchase.
What does storage include?
Storage covers all files in your workspace — uploaded input files, generated outputs (tables, figures, reports), and intermediate files. Artifacts are retained based on your plan (14 days for Individual, 90 days for Lab, 30 days for Project) and then automatically cleaned up.
Can I switch between tiers?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from your account settings. When upgrading, the new plan takes effect immediately with prorated billing. When downgrading, the change takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
Can I cancel at any time?
Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. After cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days before permanent deletion. You can download all files and outputs at any time.
How do team seats work?
Team seats are available on the Lab plan. Each seat corresponds to one invited user in your workspace. Admins can invite, remove, and manage role permissions for each seat. The Lab plan includes up to 10 seats.
Can I buy more credits mid-month?
Yes. Credit top-up packs are available at any time from your billing dashboard — 100 credits for $9, 500 for $39, or 1,500 for $99. Top-up credits do not expire for 12 months and are used after your monthly allocation.
